Brett Moyer – Coach (D1 AA and Pro Player) IMG Academy
Brett attended Hofstra University from 2003 through 2006. He was named CAA Rookie of the Year in 2003 and played for the USA U-19 Team in the World Games that year. Fortunate enough through the World Games, Brett was honored as an All-World Defenseman. Brett was named 3x All American, and 1st team in 2006. He was named Conference Defender of the Year in 2005 and 2006, and Inside Lacrosse Defenseman of the Year. Brett served as the Hofstra team captain in 2006 and played in the North/South Game that year, where he was named MVP of the games.
Upon graduation, Brett played professional lacrosse. He played pro indoor lacrosse for the Philadelphia Wings. He also played outdoor pro lacrosse for the Philadelphia Barrage and was a member of the Barrage World championship teams in 2006 and 2007. Brett coached several years at the US Merchant Marine Academy collegiately.
Brett was inducted into the Philadelphia US Lacrosse Hall of Fame as a player in 2017.

Director, Coach (D1 College and International Coach) IMG Academy
Jason Basso, an esteemed lacrosse luminary, currently holds the position as Head Coach for the National Lacrosse Team at IMG Academy . His steadfast trajectory commenced as a player at Rutgers University, where his exceptional prowess seamlessly blended with his exceptional leadership skills. Notably, his remarkable contributions led him to achieve the coveted Knight Cup in 2002, a testament to his unrivaled performance and unwavering allegiance to his team and the esteemed Rutgers University.
His foray into the realm of coaching bore testament to his indomitable spirit and relentless pursuit of excellence. At Rutgers, Jason’s tutelage helped recalibrate the direction of the team, paving the way for an NCAA playoff berth in 2003. The coaching staff, with his added guidance, was duly honored with the prestigious NCAA coaching staff of the year award, a testament to the exceptional accomplishments under his stewardship. Fueling this success further, Jason bolstered another remarkable playoff appearance for the team in 2004.
Expanding his coaching repertoire, Jason graced the campus of Hartwick College as an Associate Head Coach in 2005 and 2006. His alma mater came calling back and Jason returned to Rutgers from 2007-2010 to coach the face offs and goalie position prior to becoming the defensive coordinator. Throughout this period, his strategic acumen and unwavering dedication emboldened the defense to become a top unit in the country.
Expanding his influential reach, Jason’s coaching talents and tutelage has propelled hundreds of high school prodigies towards college lacrosse acclaim, setting the stage for continued success.

John Keysor – Coach (D1 AA and Pro Player, Mens &Womens College Coach) IMG Academy
A native of Setauket, N.Y., Keysor graduated from perennial lacrosse powerhouse Ward Melville High School before moving on to Hofstra University, where he was a four-year starter for the men’s lacrosse team and tallied 124 career points. In his senior season he helped lead the Pride to a 17-2 record, a Colonial Athletic Association Championship, a #2 national ranking and a #3 seed in the NCAA Tournament. He also led all Division I midfielders in scoring that season and earned second team All-American honors. After graduating from Hofstra in 2007 with a degree in business marketing, Keysor was selected 15th overall in the Major League Lacrosse draft by the Baltimore Bayhawks. He played two seasons in the MLL with the Bayhawks and the San Francisco Dragons.
Following his professional career, John was a men’s assistant coach at Dartmouth College for several seasons and then was named head coach of the men’s and women’s lacrosse teams at Mitchell College.

Riley Halloran – Coach (D1 and HS AA) IMG Academy
Riley hails from Houston, Texas, where she made her mark early as a standout lacrosse player at Conroe High School, earning recognition as a two-time Under Armour All-American. Her talent was further highlighted when she was invited to the prestigious Under Armour Underclass Girl's Lacrosse Tournament, showcasing the nation's top high school players. Riley's excellence on the field continued into college, where she played 30 matches for the University of Vermont from 2019 to 2022.
During her collegiate career, Riley contributed significantly to the Catamounts' success, notably leading them to a historic 14-5 record and capturing the American East Tournament Title in 2022, securing the program's first-ever conference title and NCAA Tournament berth. Her impressive statistics include 32 goals and 18 assists, with a career-high 23 goals scored in her final season. Recognized for her leadership, Riley was named team captain for the 2021-22 season.
Transitioning to graduate studies at Xavier University, Riley continued to excel on the lacrosse field, making significant contributions as she earned accolades such as being named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. She played a pivotal role in Xavier's program, ranking among the top in single-game and season records for goals, assists, and points.
Currently, Riley serves as an assistant coach for the girls' national team at IMG Academy, where she brings her expertise to coaching some of the most talented high school lacrosse players in the country

Coach Cody brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to our youth lacrosse program at Apollo Beach. As a standout two-way midfielder, Cody began his lacrosse journey at Riverview High School in Riverview, Fla., where he excelled both on the field and in the classroom. Cody continued his lacrosse career under the mentorship of Jason Basso at IMG Academy, where he honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of the game.
During his collegiate years at Florida Southern College, Cody made a significant impact on the field. As a freshman, he earned SSC All-Freshman Team honors, scoring 16 goals and contributing 4 assists. His sophomore season saw him named to the Second-Team All-SSC, recording 27 goals and 25 assists, finishing second on the team in points (52). Cody's dedication and leadership continued into his junior year, where he maintained high standards both academically and athletically.
In addition to his playing career, Cody has demonstrated a passion for coaching, having led various club programs across the state and serving as head coach at Bloomingdale High School. His coaching philosophy emphasizes skill development, sportsmanship, and teamwork, ensuring that every player under his guidance not only improves their game but also grows as individuals both on and off the field.
